DR. SAMUEL MITCHELL BLUEFARB, 94, of Kailua, Kona, Hawai'i, died June 7, 2007. Born in St. Louis. Dermatologist practicing for 37 years; professor of Dermatology at Northwestern University Medical School and University of South Florida; held the chairmanship of the Department of Dermatology at the Bay Pines Veterans Administration Hospital from 1984 to 1987. Survived by son, Richard; stepson, Dr. Fred Pollock; stepdaughter, Nancy Pollock; one granddaughter; four stepgrandchildren. Burial noon Friday at the West Hawai'i Veterans Cemetery.
