Free divorce law seminar today

A free, "Divorce Law in Hawai'i" program will be held from noon to 1 p.m. today in the Supreme Court courtroom on the second floor of Ali'iolani Hale.

The seminar is sponsored by the Hawai'i State Judiciary. Attorney William C. Darrah will provide an overview of Hawai'i law as it relates to custody and visitation, division of property and debt, child support, alimony, and other divorce issues. He will also talk about the steps in the legal process of divorce and the resources available to someone going through a Hawai'i divorce.

Darrah has practiced divorce law in Hawai'i for more than 30 years.

"Divorce Law in Hawai'i" is presented by the Judiciary on a monthly basis as a public service.
