Hotline in place for anonymous reports

Advertiser Staff

The Hawaii Police Department has sent out a reminder to the community about hotlines for anonymously reporting illicit vice activities.

The phone numbers to call are (808) 329-ZERO-ICE (808 329-0423) for information pertaining to the Districts of Ka'u, Kona, South Kohala and North Kohala; and 934-VICE (808 934-8423) for information pertaining to the Districts of Puna, South Hilo, North Hilo and Hamakua.

The Police Department encourages the public to use the hotlines for reporting illegal drug activities, prostitution, gambling and other related crimes.

When calling the hotline, you do not need to leave your name, address or telephone number. The hotlines do not have caller ID capability and information received is kept confidential.

For additional information about the hotlines, visit the Police Department's Website at www.hawaiipolice.com and click on the police hotlines link.
