Maui students vie for title in auto skills competition

Maui High School students Dustin Texeira and Brandon Sato will compete in the annual Ford/AAA Student Auto Skills competition in Dearborn, Mich., that begins on June 24.It will be the 14th year a team from Maui High has represented Hawai'i in the national finals of what is the nation's largest student automotive technician competition.
Teams are tested in two parts that include a written exam and a hands-on repair competition.
