Envision Hawaii holds conference June 16

Envision Hawaii's 2007 conference, Be the Foundation for the Future, takes place 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, June 16, at Windward Community College.The conference targets professionals in the nonprofit and public service sectors who are interested in social entrepreneurship. Among the subjects: the public agenda for higher education and discussion of the role young public servants and entrepreneurs play in increasing Hawai'i's educational capital.
David McClain, president of the 10-campus University of Hawai'i system, will attend.
