A free grief workshop on the "Korean Cultural Perspective on Death and Dying" takes place June 22 at Borthwick Mortuary, 1330 Maunakea St. Registration is 8:30 a.m., followed by presentations from 9 a.m. to noon. Speakers include Kenneth W.Y. Lee, director of disaster case management training programs at the University of Hawai'i School of Social Work; Anita Ahn, Hawai'i area director and manager of Hawaii Dahn Centers; and Maryknoll Sister Yoo Soo Kim. Garden design, furnishings, fabrics, lighting, kitchen design, electronics and more take center stage at the 30th annual Hawaii Home & Garden Show this weekend at the Blaisdell Exhibition Hall. Show hours are 5 to 10 p.m. today, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. tomorrow, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for seniors and children ages 7 to 12. Children 6 and younger are free with a paying adult.
