Weekend weather shaping up nicely

Drier air will spread over most of the state this weekend after a minor cloud and shower band moves onto windward shores this morning, according to the National Weather Service.A few more windward and mauka showers will return by Monday, forecasters said.
A high pressure system north of the islands is expected to keep the trade winds blowing for the next few days.
Daytime highs will be in the upper 80s for the next week while nighttime lows in the mid-70s are expected.
