Big Island fatal crash under investigation

An autopsy will be performed on Louis D. Vierra, 70.
Vierra's 1984 Toyota pickup ran off the right side of the roadway, struck an embankment, rolled back onto the road and struck a utility pole at about 9:04 a.m.
He was pronounced dead at North Hawai'i Community Hospital at 9:57 a.m.
