Teen critically injured in fall at Turtle Bay hotel

Police investigating critical injuries suffered by a teenage girl early today at the Turle Bay Resort have classified the case as an attempted suicide.The brother of the girl, 17, gave a statement to officers indicating no foul play was involved, police said. The incident was reported at 12:29 a.m.
The girl, whom police said is a Hawai'i resident, was injured in a fall, possibly from the fourth floor where her room was, or higher, police said.
The girl was conscious when she was taken to The Queen's Medical Center, police said.
