Free film festival for kids offered at UH today

The Kids First! Film Festival featuring films on "Cool Schools" will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. today at Krauss Hall Room 012 on the Manoa campus.For the first time ever, the KIDS FIRST! Film Festival comes to Hawai'i! A project of the Coalition for Quality Children`s Media, KIDS FIRST! films are free of gratuitous violence; race, gender, or religious bias; and condescension towards kids. Age-appropriate groupings of classic, independent, short and sneak preview films entertain through a balance of animation and live action, plus varied themes from different cultures.
Cool Schools, ages 5-10, Total Running Time: 72 minutes.
