Rolovich tosses three TDs, but Vegas loses arena game

LOS ANGELES — Sonny Cumbie threw six touchdown passes to help the playoff-bound Los Angeles Avengers beat the Las Vegas Gladiators 60-42 today in the Arena Football League.Cumbie was 27-of-40 for 291 yards, and Rob Turner had 11 catches for 98 yards and three touchdowns for the Avengers (9-6).
Nick Rolovich, a former University of Hawaii quarterback, threw three touchdown passes for the Gladiators (2-13), and Brian Jones added two scoring passes. Travis LaTendresse had nine catches for 210 yards and four TDs.
