Ka Himeni Ana concert tickets go on sale July 7

Tickets go on sale July 7 for the 23rd Annual Ka Himeni Ana Hawaiian music concert, set for 7:30 p.m. Aug. 4 at the Hawai'i Theatre. The competition features nahehane sounds without amplification, rendered in the old-fashioned style.Marlene Sai will be emcee; last year's winner, Pilioha, will be a guest performer. An organ prelude begins at 7 p.m.
