Maui police viewing tape of fatal jump

Maui police are reviewing videotape of a 35-year-old Makawao man's fatal jump Saturday off a bridge into Wailua Falls in Hana.The man, identified as Shannon Alfapada, died from head injuries suffered when he landed on rocks at 1:33 p.m., police Lt. Wallace J. Tom said.
Police are investigating the incident as a "miscellaneous accident."
