NAWILIWILI
Westin Kauai reunion set

Advertiser Staff

Employees of the former Westin Kauai Resort are planning a 20th reunion of Westin workers Sept. 21 to 23.

The 855-room resort, developed by the late Chris Hemmeter, opened in 1987 on the grounds of the old Kaua'i Surf Resort.

It was later purchased after Hurricane Iniki and is operated now as the Marriott Kaua'i Resort.

Reunion committee chairman Bob Craver said events include a reception at the Marriott and events at the Kaua'i Lagoons, Lydgate Park and Aloha Beach Resort.
