Rose named managing partner for local KPMG office

Accounting and consulting firm KPMG LLP has named Nancy C. Rose a new managing partner for its Honolulu office.

Accounting and consulting firm KPMG LLP has named a new managing partner for its Honolulu office, Nancy C. Rose, to succeed Patrick Ford.

Rose, 44, joined KPMG in 1993 in Sacramento, Calif., as an audit associate. She became a partner at the firm in 2004, and most recently was a lead engagement partner in Sacramento.

Ford relocated to KPMG's Los Angeles office to take the lead on a major client account.

In Honolulu, Rose will oversee 74 partners and professionals, and be responsible for KPMG's strategic direction and growth among other duties.
