Lend Lease wins $400M contract for Hickam housing

SYDNEY Lend Lease Corp., Australia's biggest property developer, won a $400 million contract to develop housing for the U.S. Air Force in Hawai'i.The company's Actus Lend Lease unit entered exclusive talks with the Air Force to build, renovate and manage 1,118 homes at the Hickam base, Sydney-based Lend Lease said today in a statement to the Australian Stock Exchange. The order represents the second phase in developing the base. Actus Lend Lease is also managing the $240 million first phase of the project.
