The store will be located at 2955 E. Manoa Road.

Residents and businesses can bring up to two standard-size file boxes of documents they would like to shred.

"Finance Factors strongly believes in exercising the highest safety measures to guard against identity theft," said Steven Teruya, Finance Factors president and chief operating officer. "This event allows us to help raise the security awareness within the community."

The event runs from 8 a.m. to noon.
