Man critically injured in Big Island shooting

Big Island police today are investigating a shooting in the Hawaiian Paradise Park subdivision in Kea'au in Lower Puna that left one man critically injured.Fire rescue crews were called to Paradise Drive at 10:38 a.m. and found a 28-year-old man lying in the yard of a home there with an apparent gunshot wound to the chest.
The man was taken to Hilo Medical Center in critical condition, police said.
