HAWAI'I KAI
Zoning height hearing today

Advertiser Staff

The City Council Zoning Committee will hold a public hearing at 9 a.m. today on a 21st Century Homes Inc. request to change the zoning height limit on the proposed Hale Alii condominiums from 40 and 60 feet to a uniform 90 feet.

The building will be in a stair-step design of a maximum 296 condos, a portion of which will meet the city's affordable housing requirement. The development is on Hawai'i Kai Drive in front of the Moana Kai townhomes and next to the O'ahu Club.

Residents can submit testimony on the city's online speaker form at www.honolulu.gov/council/attnspkzone.htm, or fax to 527-5733 or call 527-5588.
