Buddhist Study Center holds summer session

The Rev. Dr. Shoyo Taniguchi of the Southern Alameda Buddhist Temple will head the Buddhist Study Center's annual summer session.

Summer session runs 6:30 to 9 p.m. July 23 to Aug 2 at the center, located across from the University of Hawai'i. There will also be a satellite session July 28 on Kaua'i.

Taniguchi will focus on the principle of causal conditionality. She will discuss this basic teaching of Buddhism on the day-to-day experience; evening sessions consist of a PowerPoint presentation, group discussions and meditation exercise.
