Masters of Hawaiian Slack Key moves to Napili Kai

Maui's popular Masters of Hawaiian Slack Key Guitar musical series, generally featuring award-winning ki ho'alu artists every Wednesday, will move from the Ritz-Carlton Kapalua to the Napili Kai Beach Resort, starting today. The move is due to the Ritz Carlton Kapalua's closure for renovations.

With the venue change, there will be two shows today:

i At 4 p.m., Ozzie Kotani, Dennis Kamakahi and Herb Ohta Jr. will perform, with Keoki Kahumoku hosting.

i At 7:30 p.m., Bob Brozman, Ledward Ka'apana and Cyril Pahinui perform, with George Kahumoku Jr. hosting.

Future shows, at 7:30 p.m., will feature the following:

i June 27 — Ledward Ka'apana, with George Kahumoku Jr. hosting.

i July 4 — Dennis Kamakahi, with Kahumoku hosting.

i July 11 — Ka'apana, with Kahumoku hosting.

i July 18 — Sonny Lim, with Kevin Brown hosting.

i July 25 — Cyril Pahinui, with Kahumoku hosting.
