Refunds for VIP tickets to Rain's canceled concert started this morning at the Click Entertainment office, where about 20 fans lined up to get first dibs at refunds.

The VIP tickets — $300 apiece — were sold exclusively at Click, from offices at the Samsung Plaza, at 655 Ke'eaumoku St.

"If you paid cash, you got cash back," one ticket buyer told The Advertiser. "They kept their word."

Those who charged for seats will have their refunds credited to their charge card.

Rain, the Korean drama star and pop singer, was to perform June 15 at the Aloha Stadium, but a cloud of confusion and doubt emerged a few days before the performance, prompting the promoters to cancel the show. Poor sales were one reason; impending litigation concerning the rights to the use of the name Rain was another.

Those who bought tickets through Ticketmaster should go to the point of purchase, call (877) 750-4400 or visit http://www.ticketmaster.com.

Click should be open for a few more days to handle refunds.
