Need a happy pill? Take a peek at those adorable family pictures in the Your Pics gallery on HawaiiMoms.com — then submit some of your own. While you're there, check out the discussion forum, where moms like you share stories and advice. In the Health & Fitness forum, from a discussion on picky eaters, eluakeikihawaii wrote: My food used to get cold while I would try to cajole my keiki into eating something good and inevitably end up making that quickie I-know-you'll-eat-it meal. I realized that all I'm doing by that is telling them they can eat whatever they want. No more. I've recently come to the point where I will make one plate for dinner. They still have options; they are: eat it/be hungry. They make the choice and they know they will have no other food offered until the next snack/meal.

ENTER TO WIN

DUDE, FREE SURFBOARDS

Burger King will give away 25 9-foot custom-built surfboards designed by Hawai'i longboard champ Ned Snow. To enter the contest, customers simply need to go to any Burger King on O'ahu (except locations on military bases and at the airport), Kaua'i, Maui and the Big Island and fill out an entry form. No purchase is necessary. The promotion is Burger King's way of connecting with the surf community — and getting the word out on its new Spam Croissan'wich. Each participating store will give away one longboard. The drawings for the boards will be held next month.
