Two Hawaii pitchers who spent time in the major leagues might see action in the minor leagues.Former Waipahu pitcher Jeome Williams, who was on the disabled list with a sore shoulder, cleared waivers yesterday
and was outrighted to Class AA Harrisburg, according to a report in the Washington Post.
Williams, who went 0-5 with a 7.20 ERA with Washington, has 72 hours to decide if he'll accept the assignment.
Former Saint Louis pitcher Brandon League (shoulder) hasn't shown enough control to warrant a return to the
big leagues and will stay in Triple-A, according to The Sports News Web site.
