Hoku removed from Russell indexes, Barnwell added

Kapolei-headquartered Hoku Scientific Inc. was recently removed from Russell's U.S. equity indexes while Honolulu-based Barnwell Industries Inc. was added.Russell's index changes are followed closely by many investors.
Energy company Hoku has a market capitalization of $158 million while oil company Barnwell has a market value of $164 million.
