Kahala Nui to sponsor 'voices' benefit June 30

Kahala Nui, a senior living community in Wai'alae Kahala, will host a benefit for the Hawaii Opera Theatre called "Great American Voices" on June 30 at the facility at 4389 Malia St.

The event runs from 5 to 8 p.m., with a special tour of Kahala Nui from 4 to 5 p.m.

The benefit will feature a tour of the senior living community, a Great American buffet by Kahala Nui's chef Larry Trott and a no-host wine bar by Fujioka Wine Time's Lyle Fujioka.

There will also be live entertainment by HOT artists Amy Healey, Jacqueline Quirk, Erik Haines and Leslie Tennent. Cast members from HOT's upcoming Louis Vuitton Summer Season production of Rodgers & Hammerstein's "South Pacific" will also perform.

Tickets are $100, $150 for premium seating near the stage. Tables of 10 cost $1,500.

All proceeds will benefit the Hawaii Opera Theatre.
