'The Wild Tree' opens on stage tomorrow

"The Wild Tree or East o' the Sun, West o' the Goodnight Moon," a late-night presentation of The Lizard Loft, begins tomorrow.Troy Apostol directs this dark, adult-themed, disturbingly graphic and somewhat sweetly titled mash-up of children's stories that tells the story of an abusive relationship. The Lizard Loft is a nonprofit organization that promotes original theatrical works by Hawai'i artists.
It premieres at 10:30 p.m. tomorrow, continuing at 10:30 p.m. Saturday, Thursday and June 30; 8 p.m. Sunday and July 1 at The ARTS at Marks Garage. It's free, but a $10 donation is suggested. Call 521-2903.
