Hawaii Kai Cold Stone Creamery set to open in the fall

Advertiser Staff

Cold Stone Creamery plans to open its 16th store in Hawai'i this fall next to Safeway in the Hawai'i Kai Shopping Center.

The location, which used to be home to a TCBY Yogurt outlet, is in the process of being renovated, said Len Ryder, who along with his wife Karen, holds the franchise rights for Cold Stone Creamery in Hawai'i and Guam.

Ryder said he hopes to have the Hawai'i Kai store open by September. Two more Cold Stone outlets are scheduled to open in October in Kapahulu and the Kam Shopping Center. Openings for an additional six stores are planned next year.
