Volunteers needed for BayFest 2007

MARINE CORPS BASE HAWAI'I, KANEOHE — Volunteers are still needed for Lex Brodie's BayFest 2007 in the following areas: food and beer tents, and marketing.

Volunteers must be at least 21 years old to serve beer, wine or margaritas at the Fest Tent/Concert arena. Volunteers will receive admission to the general Bayfest attractions, a vendor T-shirt, a meal coupon and other rewards.

Volunteers at least 16 years old are needed to help conduct customer satisfaction surveys during Bayfest.

Lex Brodie's Bayfest 2007 is set for June 29 through July 1. Entertainment includes a nightly concert headlined by various national acts, local musical entertainers, E.K. Fernandez Carnival rides and games, military displays, contests, a nightly fireworks show and more.

Bayfest is an annual event organized by Marine Corps Community Services. It is open to the general public. Proceeds from the event support services for the Marines, sailors and family members stationed in Hawai'i.
