Advertiser Staff

The nonprofit Pacific Technology Foundation is accepting nominations for its seventh annual Technology Industry Awards. The annual awards program honors professionals and leaders in business and technology who have made significant contributions to Hawai'i's business and high-technology industry in the past year.

"The awardees are chosen by an elite panel of judges that select the winners based on their contributions to economic growth for the state of Hawai'i, participation in community service initiatives and understanding the role of technology in their daily lives" said Lincoln Jacobe, founder of the Technology Industry Awards and founder and CEO of the Pacific Technology Foundation.

Nominations are being accepted in the following award categories:

— Technology Company of the Year

— Technology Community Service Award

— Technology Woman of the Year

— Technology Educator of the Year

— Technology Hall of Fame

The awards will be presented at a "Flavors of Technology" gala, which will be held at the Sheraton Waikiki Hotel on Sept. 30.
