U.S. hotel revenue rose by 5.7 percent in latest week

U.S. hotels' revenue per available room rose 5.7 percent in the week ended June 16 from the same period a year earlier, according to Smith Travel Research.The revenue figure, known as RevPAR, is based on average occupancy and room rates.
