Opera benefit previews 'South'

Hawaii Opera Theatre artists perform popular arias from opera and a selection of Broadway tunes at "Great American Voices," a fundraiser, 5 p.m. June 30 at Kahala Nui, the senior living community in Wai'alae Kahala.
The event, held on Kahala Nui's lawn, includes a special preview of Hawaii Opera Theatre's upcoming production of "South Pacific." Also included: a buffet dinner, prize drawings, and live entertainment by Amy Healey, Jacqueline Quirk, Erik Haines and Leslie Tennent, members of HOT's Opera Studio, as well as performances by cast members from "South Pacific."
Tickets are $100; $150 for premium reserved seating; $1,500 for tables of 10.
