Healing arts festival starts in July

A statewide ethnobotanical healing arts festivals, the Hawaii Healing Garden, will take place July through November, sponsored by the Hawaii Health Guide.

The Hawaii Healing Garden is a multicultural celebration of the medicinal and nutritional plants of Hawai'i, honoring Hawai'i's heritage of Polynesian, Hawaiian, Ayurvedic, Japanese, Chinese and Filipino natural healing arts.

The event will celebrate healthy living.

Festival Day highlights include:

  • Health practitioners and botanical experts.

  • Keiki "Little Green Thumbs" children's programs

  • Japanese tea ceremony

  • Healing arts

  • Hula and cultural entertainment.

  • Tours, classes and workshops.
