More than 300 people are expected to attend a spiritual unity rally Sunday to support U.S. Sen. Barack Obama's run for the presidency.

The rally will start at 4 p.m. at Trinity Missionary Baptist Church, 3950 Paine Circle.

Obama's half-sister, Maya Soetoro-Ng of Honolulu, is expected to attend.

The rally will be part of a weeklong celebration in Hawai'i of Juneteenth, the oldest nationally celebrated commemoration of the ending of slavery in the United States.

Juneteenth is observed on June 19.
