Surf likely to be on the small side today

Advertiser Staff

Surf along south-facing shores will be 2 to 3 feet today with an occasional 4-foot set, according to the National Weather Service.

Surf along east-facing shores is expected to be 3 to 5 feet, while surf of 2 feet or less is forecast for west- and north-facing shores.

The longer-term forecast calls fo a small southeast swell to arrive late this weekend or early next week causing surf along east-facing shores to rise slowly. Otherwise, no significant swells are expected.
