WILLIAM "BILL" PORTER HEAD JR., 73, of Honolulu, died June 1, 2007. Born in Bessemer, Ala. Retired Kalaheo High School counselor. U.S. Marine Corps Korean War veteran; recipient of the Purple Heart. Survived by wife, Noel; son, William III; daughters, Brenda Leilani Lafferty and Rebecca Darrow Durham; brothers, Joseph and Robert; four grandchildren. ANOAMAA LEMAPU LAUANO, 80, of Hilo, Hawai'i, died June 17, 2007. Born in Fasitootai, Samoa. Retired school teacher of 45 years. Survived by sons, Vai, Paul, Taylor, and Johnny Morris: daughters, Caroline Ainuu, Inna Ah Ching, Mere Taeu, Tasi Allen, Eva Manuia and Junnie Joy; 41 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; brothers, Talia, Moefate, Penimina and Leite Setefano; sisters, Tupe Setefano and Faamoana Moananu. KENNETH "OBU" NOBUHIRO MIURA, 83, of Honolulu, died June 11, 2007. Born in Honolulu. Retired from U.S. Army; also retired director of Morale, Welfare and Recreation at Fort Shafter. Survived by wife, Katsuko; son, James; daughter, Harriet; one grandchild; sisters, Joy Lai, Grace Peters and Eleanor Miura.
