Silent march for murder victim canceled

Advertiser Staff

Tomorrow's Hawaii State Coalition Against Domestic Violence silent march for murder victim Liwliwa Barayuga has been canceled at the request of the victim's family.

"We will be respecting their privacy during this painful time," said HSCADV spokeswoman Esther McDaniel.

Barayuga, 63, was stabbed to death during a domestic dispute at her Kalihi home June 13. Her husband, 62-year-old Victorio Barayuga, has been charged with murder.
