Topping-off ceremony held for Capitol Place high rise

The luxury condominium Capitol Place being built on a former municipal parking lot downtown was topped off last week with a ceremony signifying that the building's highest structural point has been reached.The 39-story tower is expected to be completed in May 2008, with a Pflueger Honda dealership on the ground floor and 150 stalls for public parking at municipal rates.
According to project developer PMK Development LLC, 90 percent, or about 350, of the tower's 394 units have been sold. Two and three-bedroom units still available range in price from $540,970 to $943,800.
