A Department of Education employee was arrested today for investigation of a sexual-assault complaint involving an elementary student at an 'Ewa-area school.

The man, 57, was booked for third-degree sex assault after voluntarily coming in to talk with police. He was released pending further investigation at noon.

The allegation involves "inappropriate touching," police said. The alleged incident occurred June 1 at 10:30 a.m. at the school.
