State allocates $50K for Hawaii Healing Gardens fests

The Hawaii Tourism Authority has allocated $50,000 for the Hawai'i Healing Garden festivals.The series of ethno-botanical healing art festivals is this year expanding statewide. Festivals will be held on Kaua'i July 14-19; Oahu, Aug 25; Maui, Oct 6; and the Big Island, Nov 2-4. Polynesian, Hawaiian, Ayurvedic, Chinese, Japanese and Filipino cultural practitioners and ethno-botanists from across the state will take part in the festivals.
Events feature presentations, tours, workshops, healthy food products and a Healing Arts Fair with cultural entertainment.
