Authorities ID 10-year-old drowning victim from Ewa

Authorities today identified a 10-year-old girl who died Sunday after being pulled from waters at Iroquois Point Beach.

Mollie Dauner, 10, of 'Ewa Beach, died as a result of asphyxiation due to drowning, according an autopsy conducted by the city office of the Medical Examiner. The manner of death was listed as accidental.

She was pronounced dead at Hawaii Medical Center West at 4:20 p.m. Sunday.
