Preps: Former Olympic coach to lead wrestling clinic

Steve Knight, a former member of the U.S. Olympic wrestling team coaching staff and 2004 Pan American coach, will be the head clinician at the Excel Wrestling Camp at Lahainaluna High School.The camp is scheduled for July 1 to 4. The July 1 session will begin at 5:30 p.m. with the remaining sessions starting at 9 a.m.
Tommy Clum, an NCAA All-American and Big Ten champion at Wisconsin, will assist Knight. Also assisting will be Punahou coaches Matt Olney and Jimmy Takatsuka and Lahainaluna coach Todd Hayase.
The camp is open to all ages, but wrestlers younger than high school should have a partner.
