UH to begin calling new football ticket depositors

The University of Hawaii ticket office will call fans who placed $50 deposits for new football season tickets beginning tomorrow and continuing to July 13.Fans will be called in the order that their deposit was received.
More than 800 fans have placed deposits for new football season tickets and they have requested approximately 2,900 tickets.
With a season-ticket renewal rate of 93 percent (17,000), the number of football season tickets sold for the 2007 season will climb to approximately 19,900, prior to the start of the new sales period which begins July 16.
Last year, there were 18,215 football season tickets sold.
