Flooding reported in Ala Moana condo tower basement

Firefighters were sent to the Yacht Harbor Towers condominiums at the corner of Ala Moana Boulevard and Atkinson Drive about 7:45 a.m. in response to a report that a parking garage and storage areas on the lowest level are flooded.Knee-deep water was present in some areas of the building as of 6:30 a.m., according to one of the residents.
