Beach project tackles Ala Moana

The Barefoot Wine Beach Rescue Project, part of a national initiative to make America's beaches "barefoot friendly," will take to the waves of Hawaii this summer.The volunteers (21 and older) from the Barefoot project, Surfrider Foundation and community will clean up the shores of Ala Moana Beach Park on Saturday, then attend a free celebration featuring Barefoot wines, and a performance by Jill Cunniff of Luscious Jackson.
