Police catch purse-snatching suspect in Mapunapuna

Police have captured a robbery suspect behind the former 99 Ranch Market store in Mapunapuna.The man is reportedly tied to a purse-snatching during which the victim was shoved to the ground, which makes the incident a robbery rather than a theft, police said.
The robbery suspect, described as wearing white pants and no shirt, was spotted behind Henry Loui's Restaurant on Pa'a Street about 7:15 a.m. and was found behind the market a short time later, police said.
