Public meeting on Kauai for bike path

Advertiser Staff

A public meeting from 7 to 9 tonight at the Kaua'i War Memorial Convention Hall will review plans for the southern end of the Anahola to Nawiliwili bike and pedestrian coastal path.

This section of the pathway heads south from Ahukini Landing, and connects to both Nawiliwili Park and the Lihu'e Civic Center, to "enhance non-motorized access to the governmental and business hub of Lihu'e," a county press release said.

R.M. Towill Corp. will prepare the environmental assessment and evaluate alternative routes.
