Videographer Fae Yamaguchi discusses her artistic journey from creating toy-like sculptures to art videos in "Relationship with Reality," part of the ARTLUNCH LECTURE series presented by the Hawai'i State Foundation on Culture and the Arts. Inspired by old Godzilla movies, Yamaguchi's videos embrace a crude aesthetic and her stories balance the playfulness of a child and the sophistication of a learned adult life.
