Governor releases list of potential vetoes
Advertiser Staff
Gov. Linda Lingle has given the Legislature notice that she is considering vetoing 33 bills passed during the 2007 legislative session.
She has until July 10 to decide whether to veto, sign or allow these bills to pass into law without her signature.

Bills that could be vetoed include one that prohibits the state officials from binding the state to government procurement rules of international trade agreements without legislative action, another that would allow employees to continue receiving workers' compensation medical treatment during an ongoing dispute and one that would require state-subsidized health plans for the needy to cover chiropractic care.
