'Significant' swell a day away for Hawaii surfers

It's not exactly the calm before the storm, but today's surf along south shores will be 3 feet to 5 feet. The National Weather Service said the next significant swell will arrive late tomorrow, likely producing surf in the 8-foot high-surf advisory range through Friday and possibly into the weekend.Elsewhere today, surf will be 3 feet to 5 feet along east shores and 2 feet or less along north and west shores.
